Heya Gaang!

So here’s Ver. 1 of my Amon Cosplay. I’ll be rocking it at this year’s San Diego Comic con. I’ll have a booth at A-04 and I’m lucky enough to be one of the guest speakers on the Korra Fan panel on Saturday. And like my Boulder cosplay, I can do a semi-close makeshift imitation of the amazing voice acting of Steve Blum.

11:00-12:00 Avatar the Last Airbender: Beginning and Beyond— For over 5 years, the organizers of this fan panel have been bringing together both fans and professionals. Moderated by Avatar_Mom, this year's panel will include Bobby Rubio (Avatar the Last Airbender, Pixar, Alcatraz High), freelance concept artist DJ Welch (Dark Kenjie), Kevin Coppa (Puppet Benders), and actor/voice actor Dante Basco (Avatar the Last Airbender), and a few more surprise guests. If that isn't enough, there will be a cosplay contest to showcase the fandom's talented "fabric benders." Room 28E

So the only part I had is this cosplay is the design, I wanted to add a bit more detail to his character (something you really shouldn’t do in animation haha) and add some sharper elements to the mask to make him look a bit more aggressive. The other 95% of the work was done by my friend Alexander, check out some of his stuff here [link] It’s about 85% done right now. We are going to redo the mask and add some pads to the elbows, because this was the first time he actually had me to work off of, before it was just measurements and skype.
