Just a short 1 hour study of the human eye in front, soft 3/4, 3/4, hard 3/4, and side views. The teacher made us do it in a pen and cross hatching technic which I never had done and kind of avoided, but I ended up liking it! And it has been helping me with the comic because Im inking the drawings my hand and then putting them in photoshop. Please dont steel this and use it for your homework lol thats lame.
Heres some tips for the eye: when drawing the eye form the side make sure that the pupil(the black hole) is NOT touching the iris, it sits back in the eye. But it can be touching, if the person has colored contact lens on hehe. Well I might be putting more up for the mouth and ear and stuff like that, basically facial features. I have been doing one ever week for class I have a lot. Well I hope this helps out.
Dude thanks for that tip about the pupil not touching the iris from the side, didnt know and I guess thats why when I draw random stuff during class, like someone looking at the side, it looks weird haha btw did you draw this from pictures or from real life? Just wondering because I need to start studying the human body lol and idk if its better to use a real person or a picture
steal this for my homework ^_^ if only i was at art school! man you can do everything i've kind of avoided hatching myself, as a concerted endeavour, for you to hatch that great on your first try.... envy man. pure envy u_u
