lmao!!!.....reading this comments are funny as hell...the movie was ass...i didnt wanna believe it but i was quite mad when i saw it myself...great series tho!!....the only series ive EVER completed from beginning to the very ending....including the last few episodes that took FOOOORRRRREEEVVEEER to come out!!!...but anyways this comments are hilarious!!
I could list everything wrong with the movie but I would run out of room. Or type till my fingers fell off. So I will only say that the only thing cool, was the special effects. Nothing else was good, cool or right. "WHAT THE HELL IS AN ONG? AN OVATAR?"
the speshul fx were cool, the waterbending and firebending were nice, and the sets were awesome.... but everything else was so bad that it gave me the mother of all headaches. Random black airbender was...odd and out of place since no one else in the movie WAS black or any other shade than white. (tho the girl that played yue was close to what you can call color) When i first saw the casting i was disappointed that only zuko and ONG were the closest out of all of them but i thought "hey--if their acting is good i can overlook that". But they sucked. Even Katara-haters know Katara wasn't THIS helpless in the first season. The only thing she did in the movie was freeze zuko. and the fight when she's supposed to be defending aang is removed of its epicness. Sure she lost but she still did more than a half attempt at a move. watch the ep if your opinions differ. Ong was emo about water, of all things. Sokka was...horrible, the dude that kills the fish was horrible, EVERYBODY WAS PRETTY MUCH HORRIBLE.
Zuko and Yue are the best actors to say the very least, but the guy who plays Iroh takes the cake for best actor imo (dreads and all).
This proves that M. Night should never directly TOUCH the script of a movie. Just direct.
I had really low expectations for it and it was still disappointing I wish he at least stuck to the story a little more and make zukos scar look more like a burn then a black eye and the dialogue was just terrible, however the guy who played iro portrayed him really well but he looked nothing like him
